Title: Virtual web tour of Wright-Pat Air Museum
Post by: kilopaparomeo on July 21, 2011, 08:02:56 AM
You all may have already seen this but this is the first time for me.  I used to live in Cincinnati and had the opportunity to tour the Wright-Patterson Air Base Museum a couple of times.  It is truly fantastic

They have put up a 360 deg virtual web tour application that leads you step by step through the museum.  Roll over each aircraft to get its name.  Don't forget to click the audio symbol at each station to get an audio tour and background as well.

I see multiple wasted hours in my future...

I used to go to the museum several times a year.  It's a great place to try out new cameras...oh yeah, I don't do that anymore.  Still, love the museum.
