I've made a few smaller things out of laminate I made myself.  Mostly waking sticks.    I wish I could make a whole stock.    I might start by making a long press to make the laminate blank.    Then..............I'm not sure how to make the stock from there.

VERY PRETTY.

I'm calling your bluff Dave!  You couldn't have done that in one day without a multi station NC mill with a blanking die...

Sorry!

Pretty but not possible with "whittling techniques"...

 ;D ;D

Yes, that's a plausible explanation!   8)

Either way, pretty impressive stocks!  Those laminated designs are growing on me!

Yer makin' BillT proud.  ;D  ;D

Nice stocks, David!!!!!

I'd like to have one for my Mini-14. My f-i-l had a NWTF Special edition Winchester 1300 that he loaned me to go turkey hunting a few years before he passed away and it had the green/gray laminate butt-stock/fore-end and was nice looking.

I'm surprised no one has asked what they fit for an action.

Great way to make a 90 dollar rifle worth something!  Let us know if it affects the accuracy.

And another case of the accessories being worth three times the price of the gun. ;) Still, if you want to sell one, that classified button is easy to click. ;D

As a gunsmith told me once: just remove every thing that doesn't look like a stock.

Pecos, who couldn't resist.

Cute, Pecos.   Yeah that's the way scuplturers work.  Just remove everything that doesn't belong.
