What's your point ? It was a public safety issue and they took corrective action.
Besides, it worked out fine on the Golden Gate Bridge.
Think about that every time you notice chain link fencing along a bridge, it ain't there to stop a car from going over.
Robots ? Old news, it's just the next step in Computer Numerical Control technology. The Auto industry has been using them for decades.
I'm still laughing about the nets. No touchy feely crap there. "You want jump, you jump on break time. You no dent my cah again" ;D
