It was long, but I damn near wet myself laughing at the final fight. Blood in the food court, and blinds in the silk ficus trees by the Orange Julius. That is classic!

For those who haven't read Gekko45 I found an archive of his posts. Read them with respect. He is the great guru of all mall ninjas. I would also read them without drinking anything or you'll ruin a keyboard. ;)

Here's a small and relatively tame sample.

I am not a ninja, merely a student of the art of Ninjitsu, and I prefer not to have status such as “Ninja” laid upon me, for as yet I am unworthy of the title. I will be completing my ninjisu training in a little over 8 months, and then I will be a Master of Ninjitsu, a true “Ninja”. But it is not my martial arts skills that make me so vital to the security of the mall, it is my tactical and strategic skills honed by years of intens on-site on the job training. My weapons skills are the envy of the squad, and I think that with my expertise I ought to be able to choose an effective and reliab;e weapon for CQC and urban combat, whicch is why I chose SW, the MP5’s are junk comparatively.

or my personal favorite by his side kick spec ops
A critic of these two idiots writes to SPECOPS:

quote:Originally posted by HKZ:
For the love of god, why don’t the moderators kill this thread?
I have not seen this much stupidity my entire life.
SPECOPS you sure do make a lot of references to homosexuality. That is a tale-tale sign of someone who is not secure with there manhood. It is obvious that you lack any qualities that a real man may have. I pity you and your obviously pathetic existence.

Now to Specops and his response which will have your grandkids ROFL ;D:

Yeah Nancy, cry to the mods to kill the TRUTH. Just because you’re too much of a Sally to hear REAL men talk about REAL life experiences.

BTW A one time experiementation while in the military, does not make one a homosexual. It’s when you practice it daily, like yourself, that you become a homosexual.

Don’t worry, even though you don’t believe in me, or my work, I’d still save your sorry ass if you got into trouble in one of my secured areas. That’s my job, and I practice it proudly.

However if you come into the sector I’m LRRPing with the intention of causing trouble, I’ll break you into bite sized shrink-wrapped pieces so fast, you’ll be Rottweiler poop-poo before you even begin to feel the pain.

I've read Gecko's archive before, and after all of it I came away believing it was masterful put on rather than a total loss of touch with reality.

I also believe his "cohort" in the posts was in on the gag and may have been Gecko  himself under a different ID.

My thoughts were that Gecko could not reasonably have gone though the series of "experiences" he spoke of and the presentation of them was so artful, each post leading deeper into the delusion.

Also, I noted the "cohort" had some "theological" differences with Gecko that would have caused disdain had Gecko truly been so deep in his own reality.  They were Tag-Teaming the audience...one going off on a whole different tangent of their ego trip...but always keeping the readers unbalanced as the pit of disbelief opened wider and deeper.

It was easier for me to believe someone is capable of that level of sublime tongue-in-cheek mockery than to believe someone had developed an ego and belief system that divorced from reality.

Without a doubt.  But it was quite the show.  The car wreck you just could not look away from.

Of course it was a put on, the greatest comedy duo since Laurel and Hardy. The fun part about it  was all the people who took them seriously and responded to them with logic and the guys who defended them. That's what makes it classic comedy. First that people had encountered so many of these idiots that they thought Geko was for real, and secondly that he actually had admirers, because these idiots ARE out there in droves.
There was  a guy, Phil Hendrie, who had a talk radio show for a while who did this. He spoofed an extreme right wing schtick, came up with bizarre scenarios, and then took callers who thought it was real . It was hilarious. Its guerrilla theatre at its its finest.
It reminds me of the masters at this. I forget their name, but they were a group of guerilla theatre actors in SF in the late sixties and early seventies. They decided to do a bit of theatre with no actors, no script and no directors. Just the audience. How is that you say?

They put out two fliers. The first was called something like "A commentary on the Current Political scene: A play in three parts. Free to the public.
Act one: The Demonstration
Act two: Police brutality
Act three: The media response"

The second Flier? "
ANTI-WAR RALLY SATURDAY!
HELL NO WE WON'T GO! BRING TWO FRIENDS!
 f..k NIXON!
MEET AT THE PARK AT NOON! COME ANGRY!"
And folks showed up to demonstrate. And hey, what do you know, a play in three parts. ;D

FQ13 who is not making that up either. ;D

Whew.   I was thinking folks here were taking it for truth.  My apologies to everyone.

I guess if it was unfolding in "real time" as opposed to seeing it all at once, one might gradually slip farther and farther into the deception....making your first comment or "attack" after the first post and then letting your momentum take you down into it.
