Just kinda puts it in perspective.....

Since this IS a gun blog, here is Williams' statement on the Second Amendment.
I’m a Texan, a lifetime NRA member, and a gun owner. I don’t want anyone messing with my 2nd Amendment rights, and I won’t allow anyone to mess with yours.
I don't live in Texas,....yet,....but seems like a good vote to me...

When Thomas Nast drew the Democrat logo it was not a donkey.
It was specifically a Jack ass.

Big ears but still doesn't listen ;D

The script good, but could have been tighented up a bit and made sharper. I mean he never once refered to one as Ol' Nancy and Harry here... , but the concept was classic. Great filming too. Funny as hell.

Sorry FQ, but the movement in this country is going right over your head. Part of the problem is slick marketing and polished politicians. TOO POLISHED. It defeats the idea of having a government OF the people. For too long our politicians have been elitists. Look at the TEA party candidates. They are down to earth people. Not career politicians. We are supposed to be electing people from our own communities to represent us. I ask you, does your Rep live anywhere near you, or even in the same demographic that you live in? My guess is no, and so how are they supposed to understand the issues that are important to you?

It defeats the idea of having a government OF the people. For too long our politicians have been elitists. Look at the TEA party candidates. They are down to earth peopleracist hillbillies. Not career educated, thoughtful, and caring politicians supporting the right of the downtrodden. We are supposed to be electing people from our own communities to represent us. Put the MSM spin on it for you. ;D

I should have thought of that.

Once the two-year assimilation period is over, they'll be smarter than us commoners (in their minds). Remember how quickly the very similarly themed '94 revolution/Contract with America faded into history? Remember how quickly Newt became pro-big government? Politicans are like diapers. They should be changed often and for the same reason.
