Title: NM governor gets perfect score on renewal of her concealed-carry permit

SANTA FE - New Mexico's pistol-packin' governor is a sure shot.
Gov. Susana Martinez received perfect scores on recertification for her concealed-carry permit over the weekend in Las Cruces. She scored 100 percent with both .38- and .45-caliber handguns, her staff said.

As governor, Martinez has a security detail, but she still chooses to carry a weapon, Blair said.

My congratulations to the Governor! However, a perfect score? I counted at least three misses during that 23 sec. video. I thought a perfect score on steel was a hit each time you pulled the trigger. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I so want to move back to NM now! I couldn't stand Richards because he was a fake lib who paid lip service to the 2A then put money and support behind the anti gun lobbies. I like her though! .45?! My kind a gubner!!!!

I'm curious to see which way Giffoeds jumps on the issue. She was pro-2A before the shooting. If she goes anti I won't hold it against her as she would have earned it. But if she stays pro-2A she could be the anti-Jim Brady, and wouldn't that piss Sarah off. ;D
