Obama’s uncle arrested on drunken driving charge
FRAMINGHAM — President Barack Obama’s uncle has been charged with drunken driving in Massachusetts and is being held by immigration officials.
Onyango Obama was arrested last week in Framingham after police said he made a rolling stop and nearly caused a cruiser to strike his SUV.
Police said that when asked if he wanted to make a phone call, Obama said: "I think I will call the White House."
A spokesman for Cleveland immigration attorney Margaret Wong, who is representing him, confirmed that the 67-year-old is the president’s uncle.
Onyango Obama is the brother of Zeituni Onyango (zay-TOO’-nee ohn-YAHN’-goh), of Boston, who last year won the right to stay in the United States after a deportation order.
Police say the president’s uncle is originally from Kenya and is being held without bail on a detainer from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Not to beat a dead horse.....But, if Obama's mother is the only person in his family that is, was, or ever has been a U.S. citizen, how exactly is it that BHO is a natural born citizen? Just looking at it logically.

The observation has been made that the law at the time of BHO's birth specified that if a person was born outside the US with only one parent being a citizen of the US, that parent had to be a resident of the US for 5 years (or some number) after age 15 for the child to be a citizen.
If this is correct, and I've heard and seen proof (on web sites) both ways, then BHO would not be a citizen because his mother was not over the required number of years. She being to young to have lived in the US for that many years after the specified age.

Gee, BHO's brother lives in a fridge box/shack in Kenya, BHO tweaked up his Grandmother's hut with indoor plumbing, his Aunt was a defiant illegal that was "granted" amnesty here in the states,...and now his Uncle,....

A loser from Chicago with no job gets to go to Harvard while my friend has to work 3 jobs just to get his 2 boys through college and graduate school. Seems completely fair.

At least Billy tried to make beer. You do remember Billy Beer don't you? And to the best of my recollection, there was never any question about his citizenship... Intelligence, life-choices, behavior... sure, questions arose. But the boy was born in Georgia.
Many thought Billy was mite smarter than his brother.

White House: No special treatment of Obama’s uncle
WASHINGTON — The White House says it expects the arrest of President Barack Obama’s illegal immigrant uncle to be handled like any other immigration case.
Press Secretary Jay Carney also said today that Obama didn’t know about the case involving his distant relative until being informed about it by staff.
Onyango Obama was arrested and charged with drunken driving in Framingham, Mass., last week and is being held on an immigration detainer. A federal official has told The Associated Press that he was ordered by an immigration judge to leave the country almost two decades ago.
Onyango Obama, who’s from Kenya, is the half-brother of the president’s late father. Onyango Obama’s sister made headlines last year when she won the right to stay in the United States after an earlier deportation order.
Any bets that he gets the same treatment ?
