Former President Jimmy Carter wants to see Mitt Romney win the Republican nomination and run against President Obama next November.

"I hope he wins," Carter said of the former Massachusetts governor in a Thursday night interview with MSNBC. "I'm not taking a position, but I would be very pleased to see him win the Republican nomination."

Carter, a Democrat, added that he thinks Romney would lose in a match up against Obama, and that he supports the president's re-election.

Words of wisdom from another President that had weak waist muscles causing him to constantly bend at the waist in the presence of other leaders, and the urge to kiss the nether regions of our enemies.

I remember seeing a picture of Anwar Sadat, Menachem Begin and Jimmy Carter walking together during the Camp David Peace Talks back in '78.

All three looked good in their expensive suits, but Sadat and Begin so impressive and together.

My first thought when seeing it was   "What are those two dynamic heads of state doing with a peanut farmer?"
