Well, starting from the upper right (North East) and going counter clock you have the 100 yd competition range then the 10/25/50 and 100 public target ranges.  Going down the left are general purpose ranges (25/50 yds) we use for Cowboy, action shotgun and action pistol.  The building at the bottom is the club house and the one straight north is the indoor air gun upstairs and storage and classrooms down stairs.  The field to the East of the club house is used for archery.

Majer,

No I don't belong.  I don't join because then it seems like a job to me.  I do like the idea and shoot with the local guys on occasion.

Yep the link worked and I would give anything to have that much open land!

Haz, That photo is a couple years old, they hav added a couple more "Stage prop" Buildings to the range, I have a photo of it somewhere I'll post it so you can see how nice a job they did .If you look at the middle of the range you'll see a L shaped building, That's a boardwalk with doors and windows to shoot from, where the L meets at the corner is a door that is rigged to be kicked in to be able to shoot the targets.
Here's one I found, You can't see the whole thing, But that's me shooting from the end of the "L"

Cool!

We have planned a 250,000 upgrade.  It will be to the left and the north og the public and competition ranges.

There is enough room to put in a good Cowboy range and an IPSCA (sp)/IDPA range and we are going to provide hook ups for RVs and campers.

We finally have some people on the board of directors that realize we grow or die and Cowboy / action pistol is the way.

Nice looking guns.  What are your six shooters?  Do you use pump or double barrel shotgun?

My CAS Guns are a pair of .357 Mag 3 screw Blackhawks, a Stoeger 12 gauge SxS , an EMF 24 inch 73 lever in .357 mag or a 66 Border Model in .38. I slicked up all my guns myself and have been the NY State Mens Modern champion a couple times.

NICE!

Why the 73 and 66 instead of a 92?

Also when and where did you get the three screws?  Rather rare these days!

well, Lets start this at the beginning of my CAS hobby. I started off with 1  6.5 inch 3 screw in .357 and a New Model in .45, a win trapper in .45 colt and a 20 gauge Stoeger SxS. I picked up a Rossi 92 in .357 and found another 3 screw .357 but with a 4&5/8ths barrel. I switched to a 73 after I shot a friends and saw how fast they were. I wanted a 20 incg barrel, but had to settle for a 24. a couple years later I got the 66 with the 20 inch barrel and have been using that more than the 73. I still have the 92, but rarely use it. I guess you could say that as I got better at CAS, I had to upgrade my guns to match my improvement... ;D

as for the 3 screws, I've had them for a while, I try to buy any I can find that I can afford. I have a total of 5, 3 screw Blackhawks in .357 and 3 .22 Single Six 3 screw. I've paid anywhere from $100 to $400 each for them. Most folks up here don't give them a second look( Which is good for me)

I can't believe it is packed in, right in town. Looks like a ladies bridge club meeting to the immediate west of your ranges. Are those semi-outdoor ranges? Daughter is about 5 miles south on Gandy. Gonna get by one day. Mac.

Mac,

Yep outdoor with covered stations.  round us is an oil reclamation plant and a junk yard.  Some years back we had the chance to buy but the 'fudds' on the board didn't see a need!

Majer.

So you're saying the 73 and 66 are better suited?  Why?

Can any Ruger .22 take the 22 magnum cylinder?

Around here you don't see many 3 screws and if they are for sale it's from someone who knows what he has.

Haz 2 of the 3 Single sixes I have are convertibles, and will shoot either the .22 rim fire or .22 mag, they were both made after 1959. The other was made before the .22 mag was invented(1957) and has a tighter bore so I wouldn't shoot a .22 mag through it.Here is a photo of 2 of the revolvers, I'm waiting for the purchase ticket to pick up the 3rd.

WOW!  They are beauties!  I especially like the top one with the darker stain and the checkering.

What is the barrel lenght? I want to say 6.5 but I am not sure.  I will go out on a limb and say that they are not 5.5. Wrong, aren't I)

Haz, they are both 5.5 inch, the top pistol has the original Ruger black plastic grips on it, They fade to a rich chocolate brown color from exposure to sunlight.
