bet you did not have as many add's during the telecast though GRRRRRR
this is how I spent Sunday
BBQ Breakfast, BBQ Lunch BBQ Dinner, Beers and watching the V8's ALL DAY
then after that the Footy was on to watch the end of the grand final for the SANFL

First time it was ever broadcast here. I didn't watch the whole thing as it started around 7pm and was a 6+ hour race. Watched about the first hour or two. Hell of a race! They mentioned that the race (super 8s) will be coming to the US in a few years!

you might of missed the big acco with David Besnard

WOW! Glad the driver got out OK. I believe I heard that the fuel cell holds something like 32 gallons (US) of fuel due to the size of the track and lenght of the race.
Any roos on the track this year?
BTW my best guess is when they come to the US they will race at Sonoma (Infineon raceway) or Watkins Glen (maybe both). They are both road courses.

Always have been a "road course" fan and the Super 8s sound like it would be great.
But to be honest, when I read the thread title, the first thing that came to mind was:
Show up naked?

Just looked it up, the V8 Super Cars are due in Austin in '13. By the way we in the Midwest don't call him an American we prefer "Jaws" thanks to Cale Yarbrough.
