The second article (WSJ) illustrates how effectively the establishment Neo-conservatives were able to co-opt and water down the Tea Party movement. It is funny that the TPM has been turned upside down so quickly.

It's actually pretty simple. The people associated with the TEA Party are the people that make the country run, as opposed to the professional protesters involved in the Occupy $h!t show. TEA Party members had to go back to WORK!

Honestly, I don't know what it takes to make y'all see that you are turning potential allies into enemies, and you are doing it at the behest of the right wing branch of MSM. Its kind of of sad. Granted a lot of the the organizers rallying the Occupy folks are lefty bone heads who will never get it. But the folks on the ground? They are just pissed off working people like us, and they are pissed off at the same corrupt establishment government we are. Do you alienate them or offer fellowship? To me that's a no brainer. Think before you post. Who writes the checks for Fox News, Anne Coulter and Rush Limbaugh? Do you think they aren't also writing checks to MSNBC? Do you really think those guys are on our side? Do you really think that a Gadsen Flag doesn't scare the crap out of them? To quote Franklin, "We shall all hang together or we shall all hang separately". I wouldn't embrace the Occupy folks leadership, but I would damn sure do some outreach to the rank and file. Its a golden opportunity, but sadly, I've given this speech before.
