Oh, and the Cop was Black...
Around 20 protesters were arrested Saturday at the Occupy Denver protests.
The Obama-endorsed protesters knocked a police officer off his bike and kicked police during clashes today at the Colorado Capitol.
One protester was knocked out of a tree during the melee.
One bold protester tried to knock a police officer off his motorcycle. The cop tackled him and cuffed him.

Uh,...who says bad idea?

Once again,....just like the Tea Party....(sarcasm heavily added, just jabbing at my fellow Floridiot FQ..) ;)

Yeah, the scumbag, I mean gentleman only was trying to say "hi." If the peace and love crowd don't see how shoving the motorcycle wasn't an attack then there's no middle ground with that group.

Did you watch it all the way through?
This is not going to end well folks. The winter may tone it down a bit, but this is only a precursor, and a dry run, for next Spring/Summer.
The sheeple, won't have a clue, when the hammer falls. They will have the MSM to toe the line....But we know the deal, and take Col. Jeff Coopers advice....
The potential war being created between the have's and have not's will have "us" in the middle.
"Our Founding Fathers, having endured the tyranny of the British Empire, wanted to guarantee our God-given liberties. They devised our three branches of government and our system of checks and balances. But they were still concerned that the system could fail, and that we might someday face a new tyranny from our own government. They wanted us to be able to defend ourselves, and that's why they gave us the Second Amendment."

Yeah, I did. I'm still trying to figure out how big this 'movement' truly is. The numbers don't really seam to be reported for some reason.
I am concerned the direction this could go.
-
The numbers aren't reported because they aren't good enough to fit the narrative YET. But it is still the preseason.
-
They don't want it to be like the "Million Mom March" that had less thean 100K. If they make it SOUND big withoutactual numbers people think it's huge. Once actual numbers get revealed it may be a few dozen hard-cores and couple hundered hanger-ons.

My biggest question, besides what exactly is the point of these protests, is why did the cops take so long to get the guy out of there? I would think they would want to get him out of the area as fast as possible; load him up and process him off site. The longer they have him on the ground the more likely the crowd will get out of hand.
The fact that this guy blatantly pushed the motorcycle over (assault on a police officer? among other things) and everyone thinks he shouldn't be arrested shows that these people aren't right in the head. Peaceful protest and civil disobedience are one thing, but this is completely different. Thankfully, we can't be arrested for being a dumbass; but, being a dumbass can lead you to doing things that will get you arrested.
This lady thinks she's doing the guy a favor and showing the cops in a bad light by video taping the whole thing. My guess, she helped to convict this idiot.

Another important thing to remember is that they are trying to turn this into an INTERNATIONAL movement, and their demands are for WORLD WIDE changes.
These people are tools of communist subversion, (the average member doesn't seem smart enough to be an actual witting subversive).
Any act of violence they engage in, and they seem fairly plentiful, removes them from the Constitutions "Peacable assembly clause, and should be used as a pretext to crush them.
After all, the Constitution is the "Rules of our Govt. not a suicide pact.

Just from the video, it took them that long to get the guy searched. Five minutes or so to search a guy in the middle of a melee is pretty good. Always try and limit the unknown crap from being taken into the jail. Avoids things like this:
Graphic video warning http://www.footypd.com/view_video.php?viewkey=714dff4c34b2361569b3 (http://www.footypd.com/view_video.php?viewkey=714dff4c34b2361569b3)
Only a few of the people screaming "Police brutallity, don't arrest him" would have actually seen him push the bike. The rest would have only noticed the cop chasing him.

#1. If you video and then send you video in as evidence you might want to remember that you also taped the part where the idiot assaulted the officer!
#2. At what point was he shot in the chest with a rubber bullet ???
-
I don't think they were referring to the "pusher" being shot, but the Denver PD did fire stingballs into the crowd to disperse it.

There was some radio traffic that mentioned an ambulance. So my guess is that they were going to have his facial scrapes looked at BEFORE transporting him from the scene. Get them documented so he didn't try to come back later and claim more serious injuries.

Ideology aside, the tactics of camera girl were great. Lets assume its us in a protest and the cops got rowdy. (picture Tombogan being the one in cuffs, a strange thought I know, but go with it for now ;)).
First, she did get the whole incident on tape, maybe bad for "Tom", but good for keeping accountability. If the DA wants the tape, he has to use the whole thing. (Side note, make a copy in front of witnesses ASAP).
Second, she got the head wounds, and noted that that there were numerous officers present, all of whose faces were shown.
Third, She got the guy to yell out his name so she knew who to give the tape to.
Fourth, she was calling for other, presumably helpful witnesses to be identified before they left the scene.
The only thing she did wrong was not getting a close up of the cops badge numbers. I know that in a demonstration/riot scenario many cops tape over theirs. IMHO that should be a felony. Likewise, a cop should be required to give his badge number if asked for it. There has to be accountability, and no cop should be able to operate anonymously. If they can do that, we have no recourse to civil justice.
As others have posted, I think this video helps the cops more than it hurts them. It would be enough for me to vote guilty on a charge of assaulting an officer. Still, from a tactical stand point, it is a lesson we should all learn, as tomorrow we might be the ones on the wrong side of the batons. Just sayin'.

If those idiots represent the "have nots", I'd like to think I'm one of the "haves". At least in the brain dept. It's an obvious sure bet those morons don't have any. Also, they hate guns. This "war" will be over in 5 minutes.
