I forgot he was so young. He will be missed and not forgotten. :'(

That's pretty young. Does anyone know the cause.

That's pretty young. Does anyone know the cause.
He had a serious infection that began in his abdomen (similar in type to what is plaguing Kid Shelleen). Doctors started by removing tissue and treating with antibiotics and he had been fighting it since around April of 2010. He had been in a critical care facility for the last few months and had taken a turn for the better when he suddenly turned worse and passed.
He fought a hard fight, but kept his faith and a good attitude, as was seemingly his nature based on how he conducted himself on here over the last few years.
He left a solid mark, IMHO.

Here's the photo he used on FB, obviously in happier times. Looks like he might have been hunting.

Swoop and I chatted many times back in the day in the chat room here. GREAT man and a real 'card' (funny as hell). Had an amazing amount of good advice and maturity for his age. Just a damn good man and one that will be sorely missed.

RIP Swoop.

It is with a heavy heart that I noted today is Shane's birthday. He would have been 33 today. If you're friends with him on Facebook, take a minute to express you condolences to his family, as they have been maintaining his profile in tribute to him.

This was bad news to discover. I hate this.
I just reread Swoop's "Merry Christmas To Me" thread. Dang.
I hope he's had a joyful reunion with his beloved grandfather.
