http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/ Finally someone got the SOB for his piss poor customer service.
-
From everything I have heard about him he deserves it.
-
I really can't believe he was still in business. Its good that he's been shut down.
-
Interesting.
Richard
PS: Scrolling down a little farther will get you an article on a neat "Sub 1 lb. Pack Rifle"...neat but pricy!

The man makes great products but I hear when one doesn't work he will not make good on it. Many years ago I bought one of his .22 uppers for the 1911 and it is both accurate and problem free.

70 copmlaints with the BBB? WOW! I've been upset over some of the service I've had with businesses and only called them a few times, so there must be more than a few for each complaint. One person was upset enough to start up a website about him, which doesn't take much-granted, but that is time that could be spent shooting

Some one on here posted in a past thread that on meeting JAC at SHOT, or th NRA convention, they mentioned in conversation a couple things they would like to see changed, ( I forget what they were )
JAC's reply was , "If you don't like it, don't buy it."

This guy annoys me because he makes my life more complicated. My Great grandad said this "If you want to succeed in business, never promise more than you are prepared to deliver, and try to deliver what you promise". Simple, right? Then there are idiots like these. It makes me gun shy as a buyer as I'm afraid I'll get taken for a ride, and as a seller he pisses me off, as he tarnishes my rep by association. Bottom line, I am glad he is in handcuffs, and he has no one to blame but himself. When you take some one's money for a product that should do "x", if it doesn't, for whatever reason do "x", you give the money back. I've used this rule to sell a lot of guns on the classified section of this board. I have had nothing but happy customers. The one guy who wasn't happy with the BB gun I sold him? I gave him his money back. Guess what? No harsh words, no bad feelings. Its as advertised or you get a refund. Why is this a novel concept, particularly in the small world that is the SD firearms industry? Ciener should go to jail for felony stupidity if nothing else. I mean, how many people want a .22LR upper for their AR or 1911, and do you think they don't talk to each other on the net? ::)

FQ, I have to disagree with you, you left out "in a timely manner".
The above link is to the previous "JAC should be penalized" thread.
I would bet that more than one of those BBB complaints came from members of this forum.

Tom, there's at least one member of this forum who had trouble with that clown. I ordered a kit from him and prepared for a 8 to 12 weel wait as his web site mentioned. Well I guess someone made a slight mistake in the wording 'cause it took 8 MONTHS almost to the day. If this guy is forced out of business I'll shed several tears of joy.

I couldn't remember who it was, but that was what I was referring to.
