Title: And the Darwin Award Goes to........
Post by: fightingquaker13 on November 14, 2011, 04:04:36 PM
Under the heading of "What did he think would happen", our South African hero learns that keeping a hippo as a pet is a bad idea. He actually bragged "I've got a relationship with the most dangerous animal in Africa". Yeah, you did Bra'.  Ag man, how's that working for you? ::)

After reading that I'm going to have a similar relationship with a Chicken salad sandwich.
I'm actually pleased to read this .
It means it's not just US voters who are too stupid for their own safety.
Of course it's still better than that idiot Steve Corwin, who was killed by one of the least threatening fish in the ocean

A 47-year-old Uptown man with a possible history of mental issues died Monday night after apparently trying to remove his own pacemaker from his chest, officials said.

Channing Askew was conscious when taken by ambulance from a group home in the 4700 block of North Winthrop, officials said.

As paramedics tried to resuscitate him in the ambulance, they noticed puncture wounds in his upper chest, made apparently as he tried to remove his pacemaker, officials said.

Askew was pronounced dead at 11:33 p.m. at a hospital.

That Afrikaans guy has nothing on this Rabbit.  Yesterday marked 24 years of me sleeping in the same bed with Bunny--the most dangerous mammal in North America.

He should have known better. On the other hand, I have met many people while still living there that would have done the same thing.
