Title: Lets show some bling.
Post by: kid terico on November 16, 2011, 06:31:06 PM
I make both Old and new styles. My ideas get pretty carried away as Dalton knows. Heres one of them. If you like I,ll show more. Its 2 ounce elk hide over 8 ounce Wicket and Craig leather. I couldnt stamp the elk so I dyed each stamp design one at a time. Hope the rest of you wi;ll join in with some of your own.. KT

KT...you have put out some fantastic rigs over the years...If you have ever noticed that I don't go for much on the "bling" side unless asked by a client...just personal preference....I like the one you posted on the other post with the red lacing...that is nice

Very good,  KT!

I take it that rig is not for a blackpowder shooter???

I am with Outrider, and usually dont do a lot of adornments, but I really do like the look of a few brass spots on some of my stuff. I have a few 'US' spots that are dying for a Wild Bunch rig, if I only had time to build it.

My problem is I have about 125 rigs hanging in my house and its hard to keep comming up with new ideas. I gave 25 rigs away in the last 2 years just to get room. KT ;D

Tom,
That is good looking stuff.

KT,
I don't have near that many rigs setting around, but if I had room and time, I probably would too.

Thanks, Dad has been tooling leather since the 80's, he's slowed down some now as he's in his 80's but those are all from the last 5 years.
