I would like to see an episode covering red dot sights on pistols. With David Bowie, Gabe Suarez, Mark Housel, Lone Wolf and many others offering milling and even newly manufactured slides specifically for red dots there is no shortage of ways to go about this. I need some help figuring out if a red dot on a pistol really is almost like cheating like it is with a rifle. Then I need some help deciding between backup sight arrangements, red dot model, and opinions about who does the best and most cost effective job at this type of thing. Also it would be interesting to hear from an industry insider if glock, s&w, and anyone else is planning to jump on the bandwagon like FNH and offer a factory red dot ready pistol with some type of standard rail type interface like every black rifle manufacturer now does.
I thInk that would make an awsome episode, especially with the new one hour format.
If anyone has input or answers now I would appreciate that also because I don't know how much longer I can put off buying a red dot equipped pistol.
