Just got "Unintended Consequences" from the library this evening.
Started to check it out for a few minutes around 6:30.
7 hours later, I took a break. I may not get to bed tonight.
Or tomorrow night ;D

Do tell. Give us the synopsys author etc. if its that good. God knows I've been looking for a good book for awhile. BTW, how about a DRTV book club? Screw Oprah, I think we can do better. Just a thought.
FQ13 Who would suggest "Rules for Radicals" by Saul Alinsky as book one. We all bitch about him, but how many of us have actually read the book? I'd also be up for the Federalist Papers, military histories, good novels etc. Just a thought, but I don't think its a bad idea.

Several of us have read this book. It's definitely "X" rated, so be prepared. Sex and violence.
The bigger point is at what point do people get fed up and take action.
BTW, in my county library it's kept behind the counter and considered a "cult" book. I suspect the names of those who check it out are reviewed by Homeland Security.

I don't care about the old librarian! It's on my shelf due to a special offer through DRTV a while back ;D If the black copters and blue helmets show up I'm blaming M'ette ;)

The report is in FQ's "Bookclub" thread.

I may be thinking of the wrong book, but in UC isn't there one scene where a mobster gets stabbed through the eye socket with a chop stick?
Don't remember that in Shakespeare.

Maybe he'd be more popular in high school these days if he did write that in ::)

You missed Titus Andronicus, in which the Queen of the Gauls is raped, limbs are severed (and the victims live) and children are served up as meat pies to their parents. Ol' Will must have really tied one on for that play!

Sounds like UC might just be added to my holiday reading list.

For those of you who have not read it, you need to.
For those of you who have read it, I just got to the part where Henry encounters an ATF agent at a gun show. ROFL ;D
