FTA:
Already, Obama has begun to stack our federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court, with anti-Second Amendment judges who will advance his gun-ban agenda. If he wins reelection, Obama could have the opportunity to tip the fragile balance of the Supreme Court to an anti-gun majority that will reverse the recent Heller and McDonald decisions that affirmed the Second Amendment as an individual right
Ask yourself this,....
Regardless of the Republican nominee,....Whom do I want to appoint the next SCOTUS Justice....(likely two),....
Uh,....I'll take ANY of the Republican nominees to SCOTUS appointments, than BHO's....
Just something to ponder, as we bit** about Newt this, or Romney that.....

Bush I gave us Breyer. OTOH, he also gave us Thomas.

Is one of those supposed to be good news?

Damn, there you go again. Breyer is your typical "Living Constitution" libtard judge who thinks he needs to rewrite what the Constitution says in order to "uphold and defend" it.
Even Thomas' detractors admit he is a staunch Constitutional supporter and knows it inside and out, as well as the background documents.
So, yeah, Thomas is better - by leaps and bounds.
-
Hell yeah. I would vote for Clarence Thomas for President today! He has been a great Justice.

You two have drunk so much conservative koolaid its a wonder your eyeballs don't float (and I liked Bush Sr.). I think that there is no doubt that Thomas has made some good calls, particularly in the Lopez case. The same is true of Breyer in Casey vs Pa., but if you really think either of them are great justices you are on crack. Breyer was an attempt to appeal to moderates, and Thomas was the most qualified black conservative available to replace Marshall. Both are non-entities as far as SC justices go. Sorry guys, but neither of these guys is worth much more than a C grade on the Court. That's not just me either, its pretty much consensus, and ideology doesn't matter here, as Breyer was a liberal and Thomas is a conservative. And frankly, most folks who study the Court, regardless of politics, will tell you they both kind of suck. :-X
FQ13 who voted for Bush the elder twice, but he really could have done a better job at picking SC appointees.

It's not so much drinking the conservative koolaid as making it by the gallon and trying to get as many folks to acquire a taste for it as possible in a lifetime.
I'm a Libertarian, but prefer koolaid to the urine punch served by the liberals.

Does anybody besides me look at Breyer and see Jack Benny?.. His mannerisms, in voice and gestures, and even his appearance make me forget his name... Every time I try to recall his name, it comes out "uhh.. uh.. damn.. (sigh) Jack Benny". Our Constitution was written as much a "We're Not That People" as much as it was a "We're This People".. This guy sees damn African history in the words of the sole reason his job exists; holding anything that comes before him up to the Constitution.. I'm sure he's a great dinner party guest but he has failed in identifying the meaning behind the words of the founding documents..
New World Order/Globalist/Thousand Points of Light Bush 41 gave us Perot... (Bush 41 taught me that NOBODY from State should be allowed to run for Pres..)

As far as important dates, each time the polls open takes us to that same history altering fork in the road, this year especially...
(I could kick the NRA in the butt for offering to endorse Reid in 2010... Still...)
