Saw that a few minutes ago, very sad, but what a hell of a career he had. Don't know his politics, but I enjoyed the heck out of his acting, especially in MASH and The Shootist.

A fellow Michigander, I knew Muskegon where he grew up well...  Right on Lake Michigan, great town, great beaches, parks, etc...

RIP Mr. Morgan.

And Dragnet and a few old WWII movies, where he still looked kind of old. The guy must have been born at 40! ;D I have gotten a lot more enjoyment from him than most other actors. My personal favorite was the scene where he shoots his jeep after Frank runs over it with a tank. It was classic. RIP.

One of my all time favorites. The episode was titled Hey Doc, but I cannot find it...Some of his old Westerns were and still are great.

I even remember him back in December Bride (TV Series)

As others have said, don't know a thing about his personal life, but he brought a smile to my face in whatever role he was did.

He demonstrated that he could play any part, and play it well. So many of these old time actors are going away. He will be missed. I saw an interview with Ernest Borgnine on O'Reilly a few months back. He is well into his 90's and still sharp as a razor. A super nice, well mannered guy.
