Just saw this gun and considering it as a replacement for my P99, looking for feed back, anyone have one, pros or cons..thanks

I have one in .40 and I love it. It has about 700 rounds through it never a hiccup. Very solid, easy take down, definatley the best I could find for the price ($500). Getting the last round in the mags was a beast even with the loader, but they go in like butter now. This is my first polymer frame pistol though and I'm not convinced its for me. Dont get me wrong, LOVE the gun!

I really like the Beretta 92/96 and went to the factory for an Armorer school and got to shoot the PX4-D before they "hit the streets" I liked the feel of the gun but I didn't like the trigger. I'm a Glock shooter so I was expecting a reset in about the same place (1/4 in or so) but got a "click" but it wouldn't fire. Had to set the trigger all the way out first, like the 92/96. It would not be a big deal after a few range sessions.

I like mine. Very reliable. Can field strip in under a minute. Mine is in 9mm

Shot my buddy's quite a bit. It is a good size, capable good capacity, and accurate. I didn't ever get accustomed to the way the gun torques when fired, but would be very comfortable recommending one.

They have a nice feel to them. I know that they people I have talked too say they like their's. If that don't work out or you change your mind, I would perhaps look at Glock. ::)

One big + for me is the decocker. I love that thing!

I have 3 Beretta PX4 Storms and it is a great platform. If our military does ever go back to a 45 the PX4 would be a good choice. Their long awaited compact Storm will be the frosting on the cake for concealed carry.

The Storm is a far more comfy gun than the 92/96 (and I like the 92). Not quite so sublime as the P99, but the Storm is based on the well-proven Cougar slide and control group.

That was on of the first handguns I shot actually. I really liked it. Almost bought one, but ended up with a Glock. No real reason besides just a good first gun.

....but ended up with a Glock.
Don't sound so sad about it, Geez!

Sounds like you "ended up" with a sweet piece of ace.
