I'm not an "end of the world" kind of guy, but are the Feds overstepping their bounds?
You decide!

My Google Foo is weak today so I can't find the link, but we've discussed this recently..
My opinion ?
The sheep have been letting the Feds do anything they plaese for 100 years now, from murdering citizens with out trial to confiscation of valuables to telling them what types of grease they can could with.
Only a real optimist would expect them to suddenly grow balls, or even self respect, after this long.

It is funny, that FEMA, and DHS, both advocate for citizens to have preparations in case of emergency, but then label you a terrorist if you do.
The article states that awake, prepared and armed citizens scares the .gov. All I can say is that this is a good thing. They need to be afraid. It is only operating in fear of the citizens that they will ever govern in the best interest of the nation.
-
Knowing that they fear us is a good thing, however, I agree with TB on this one. We must actually grow a set to stand up to these thugs.
Remember to only deal in cash for your preps and firearms/ammo, and as their list grows with more of our names on it everyday, be prepared to fight to the death for your right to live in this "semi-free" country! ;) ??? :'(
PS- Please weep for OUR country!

NO! I refuse to weep. To me that means that you have given up. I for one, have not. We are in a bad spot, and I think things are going to get worse before they get better. I do think that violence is in our future. But until my dying breath, I will not surrender to thugs that have managed to pacify the sheep!

That's why the 3%-ers exist, most of the others will go along or actively support the hand that feeds - and controls - them.
More than half of the payroll in this country is .gov.
More than half of the people in this country are on the .gov dole in some manner.
Pacifying the sheep is one thing. Pacifying the non-sheep is where things will get very interesting.

They can do a lot of bad things to you.
Bankrupt you, take your stuff, hurt you, jail you and even kill you.
The one thing they can't do is defeat a man who just refuses to be beaten.

Here's another take on the same story. I know folks here don't much like Alex Jones but I think a few of his latest stories are called for now.

The TN one with the Mormons having their customer lists demanded by "Federal agents" has been discussed on preparedness fora. One question I have is which Federal agents? Which agency/cies? Neither Rhodes nor Jones say which. I believe it happened, it is plausible, especially since TSA is now monitoring traffic on the interstates in TN, seems like TN may be a test ground. But it would be helpful to know who is doing the demanding in this case so specific pressures can be brought.

The story has been retracted now, due to lack of "credible" witnesses. They either scared the sh*t outta someone, or it never happened!

Gotta disagree with you on this one. A bit of weeping will clear the dust outta my eye as I draw a bead on another one.
I sadly weep for my Nation, but I will NEVER give up.

1 man fighting for his home is worth 10 Soldiers. He fights with a fury and fever that few will know when he is standing on his own turf. That is why if the SHTF you do not want to be wandering about, you will run into those that are defending the last thing they have and when a man is cornered watch out.

Unless you have the means to totally decimate the AO, it's hard to beat a cornered/motivated individual on his own ground.

Well, you could always render the area into unusable glass......... not much would be left to fight back, but that is the extreme end of it. ;)
