Merry Christmas to you too! Unless you life in the city somewhere, at least it looks like Christmas where you are..
Merry Christmas!
Actually, it's not difficult for a resident. I took a four hour NRA course (not the NRA Pistol) and paid my 100 bucks. I had my permit in about 10 days, unrestricted! For out of state folks, maybe the course is different, I don't know but they only issue for one year and at 100 bucks for one year, it's not worth it. Traveling through isn't a problem locked in the trunk, unloaded of course. Stay out of Boston though and keep clear of Logan Airport on the north side.NH changed their rules on out-of-state permits from the last I got mine. It used to be cheap. Now it's a hundred bucks.. Still four years, I think. I'm not there anymore so it doesn't matter so much to me now.
I also have NH and ME. Surprisingly, CT was a royal pain in the butt when I lived there last year. I never finished the required paperwork. It's easier for a non-resident to get one there.
Christmas will be brown this year just south of the NH border. The mountains have snow but we haven't had a flake since the storm in October.
... Kittery is about a two hour drive but well worth the effort! We spend a lot of time in SE Maine in the summer months.Talk about a toy store, too!!!!! Love that place..
