Title: I was bored...spray painting AR mags

Maybe one day I will build up the courage to spray paint/airbrush a whole gun.

You might think about masking off from the mag retention hole up and over the lips. That way you don't have to worry about thickness of paint if gone over a couple of times and it can't get into the body. It's covered by the magwell anyway.
I take it's snowing where you're at?  ;)

If you do the rifle, ANYTHING that moves and all sights/slots get masked off.

It's not snowing here yet, but I might go coyote hunting soon.

This was about a 4 beer job.

I am hoping if I clear coat the carbon fiber looking mag, it will look more like....well...carbon fiber.

Very "Enemy at the Gates". The Coyotes won't see you coming. All you need is matching snowflage and either a paint job or color themed burlap wrap on the AR. ;D Cool paint job. I like it.
