Even crooks could use a class or two on gun safety.

Accomplice Accidentally Shoots Would-Be Robber During Florida Home Invasion

MELBOURNE, Fla. –  A man involved in a home invasion in Melbourne, Fla., was inadvertently shot by one of his accomplices who was trying to shoot the resident, police told the Orlando Sentinel Sunday.
Cops said 20-year-old Nathaniel James Clay broke in to a house in the 2800 block of Colbert Circle, about 70 miles southeast of Orlando, about 9:40pm Saturday, along with two other men.
The resident living at the property got into a fight with Clay, Central Florida News reported, with the accused struck several times with a baseball bat.
Investigators said one of Clay's accomplices then tried to shoot the resident, but instead inadvertently shot Clay.
Clay was transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center in the wake of the incident, while detectives were Sunday still hunting for his accomplices, who fled the scene.
Police said Clay would be arrested on a charge of home-invasion robbery when he is released from the hospital.

Now the question is:

Will Clay rat out his accomplishes? 

Might be hard to generate much loyalty to a guy who shot you and ran off and left you for the cops.

There was a case a while back posted on here, 2 guys hold up a store, Leader yells "don't move"
when he moved toward the register his partner shot him.

Ya know why those gangsta types shoot with the gun turned flat?

It comes out of the box that way.... ;)

They also have no range time, gun discipline, or any regard,....to the booger hook/bang switch protocol,.....

Too bad he survived, ending 2011 with a Darwin Winner, would have been nice,...but there is a few more days to go...
