Title: Words Banished from the Queen's English

Lake Superior State University, in Sault St. Marie, is featuring those phrases in its annual List of Words Banished from the Queen's English for Misuse, Overuse and General Uselessness. The 2012 list, released Friday.


This year's banished words

• Amazing

• Baby bump

• Shared sacrifice

• Occupy

• Blowback

• Man cave

• The new normal

• Pet parent

• Win the future

• Trickeration

• Ginormous

• Thank you in advance

I did notice a couple, like "La Macharena" that were never in "Queens English".
So I presume it remains in the "Dictator's Spanish" ?

I would add "Skin In The Game".....Uttered by El Presidente BHO....and most of the other "catch phrases" he's read from El Jefe Teleprompter...

I have no problem with hope or change but...

"Hope and Change!" should be outlawed, not just banished!
