THe wife has an Isreali M1 Carbine that she absolutely loves.  Soft shooting and small it's a great home defense gun.

I think G&A Magazine did an article on the auto ordinance M1s 3 or 4 months ago. I got the chance to shoot an M1 not too long ago that my friend's father brought back from Nam..... they are a lot of fun to shoot!

MSRP $792.00 - OUCH!

It is a good looking gun, however.

Sweet little rifles, although the .30 carbine round is fairly anemic, We used to shoot at .062 steel disks and for penetration the M1 Carbine was out performed by 9mm pistols, accuracy and fun level were right up there with any other rifle of this class (mil surp) I  heard that the newer models had some Mag issues but that was 15 or 20 years ago. To bad no one chambers it in .357  ;D

Great shooting rifles but a bit anemic in the power dept. I would opt for a more powerful rifle for defense, but these are great plinker's. I like the plastic furniture, the originals have a great look also.

Since I was a kid glued to the TV set watching “Combat”, I always wanted a M1 Carbine.  Despite the positive press that I have read on Kahr products, I can’t see that happening.  I just can't get past the Rev. Moon and the Unification Church.

I am dumb founded and flibbergasted!  I wonder what the "revderend" Moon thinks of all this?
I have a Kahr K-9, and it is a wonderful little piece.

I'm with you guys, who knew?

That family certainly has a penchant for drama to say the least. Justin sounds like he's one of the more low key members of the family, they only had a sentence or two about him in his dad's biography.

No REAL surprise, Moon himself started as an arms dealer.
