Title: OFFICIAL "Unofficial" WINNERS OF THE 4th ANNUAL 1911 GUNMAN TOURN.
Post by: twyacht on January 31, 2012, 04:00:26 PM
Using a Fowler caliper, my best eyeglasses, and a good light, all the entries have been measured....three times. I promise, there was NO adult beverages consumed until after...When my hands, eyes, and head hurt... ::)

ALL entries and contributions are on the way to Marshal'ette for confirmation...Thank you DRTV for taking the time and effort to keep this charitable tournament going.

Here's the list:

In Class 2B, Benchrest Rifle at 100yds.

Mericet

In Class 3A, Pocket Pistol at 7yds, offhand.

alfsuave

In Class 3B, Pocket Pistol at 7 yds, benchrest.

Kmitch200

In Class 4A, Full Size Pistol at 10yds. offhand. (most popular category BTW).

by a mere 3centimeters,  BAC...

In Class 4B, Full Size Pistol at 10yds., benchrest.

by 4centimeters Kmitch200 (it was really just one big .45 caliber hole).  :o

In Class 5A, Open Pistol at 25yds. offhand.

alfsuave, (with his evil S&W revolver)...
. :-*

Closest to the bullseye was a 1centimeter difference, in Class 4A.

Mericet had alfsuave literally by 1cm.

*****

In the " Annie Oakley, super-dee duper Class 6A, trick shot category any firearm, any style, any range."

At 400yds. offhand, with a Glock, on a unicycle, in the rain, while riding horseback, we have.

Kmitch200.
  ;)

You are officially on double secret probation, as making up categories as you go requires at least a toast from another member.

 ;D

To all the members that entered.

Please feel free to brag, talk sh**, rub it in, gloat, get a big head, brag, strut and prance around, continue to remind us all year, that "You Are The Winner"....

and now that the shootin's done, remember to celebrate your victories in true DRTV fashion:

Thanks again DRTV!!!

Tom W.

It's centimeters...On the scoring criteria.

Measured from outside edge of bullet hole.

Thanks for spearheading this up TW.    You got it done quicker than GSSF matches are scored.

I can not believe that! At least I am doing better here than the NRA Bullseye postal matches our club is shooting in!
