Alan Gottlieb is holding the check from the City of Chicago in payment for the attorney's fees from McDonald v. Chicago. It totals $399,950.

I just love seeing the signature of Rahm Emanuel on that check!

I love it.   Except of course, Rahm probably didn't actually sign it, but it was printed that way.

The drawback is it didn't come out of Rahm's own pocket but from the people of Chicago.  BUT, they elected him and the slimy politicians before  him that created this mess, so I'll sleep a little better tonight! ;)

I think it would be polite of Mr. Gottlieb to send Darth a letter thanking him for signing the check reimbursing SAF for legal expenses in defending the 2A rights of Chicago citizens and assuring him that the funds will be used to continue the fight.

Better yet, make it a full page open letter on the back page of the 1st section of the Chicago Tribune - right there for everyone to see!
