Title: Yeah, that'll work!
Post by: Paraguy on February 17, 2012, 09:27:11 AM
Our fine Government just spent money to put this sign up at the US/Mexico border.  First of all, maybe this should go up in DC to remind the Attorney General that our own Government shouldn't be arming the drug lords.  Second of all, how many criminals are going to stop smuggling weapons because of this sign.  The stupidity continues.

They are preaching to the choir.

The intended audience, anti-gun liberals, will see this as a significant effort by the government to halt gun smuggling.   Just look at the size of that sign...that alone shows how serious and firm the gov. is on this.

Looks like there might be an exclamation point at the end which just emphasizes this strong response.

No sir.  That sign is intended for our Government.  It was put up by the Mexicans.
And it's made up of the carcasses of poor firearms that lost their life in this nonsense. :'(

I stand corrected.  Still a stupid idea!

Stupid idea?

I don't know.

It made me totally re-think my commitment to gun ownership.

After due consideration, I think I'll keep what I have and buy some more.

There. That was easy.

Now if we could just get the arseholes in DC to stop shipping guns to Mexican drug cartels, the Mexicans could enjoy a safer existence and potentially longer life.

Wouldn't it have been cheaper to have sent a memo to Holder and Pres. Obama that they screwed up  ::)

Or, we could tell them that if THEY had better border security firearms wouldn't be heading south  >:(

So can we make one in kind that says "No more Illegal Immigrants"  out of the carcasses of poor illegals that die in the desert trying to gain unlawful entry into the US?

This will work ALMOST as well as the "Gun Free Zone" signs we see at various locations in this country.

Presumably Calderon still has control over at least a porrtion of the Mexican Army. Perhaps he could put them on the border. I mean the ones who aren't shipping drugs across into TX.. N.M., AZ. and the California coast. Wonder if any of those subs are showing up off of TX. or LA.?
Not excusing the FBI/ATF here. It just seems that a well financed/"oiled" Mexican Military could defeat the FBI if it wanted to. Maybe Mexico is blaming us for greed within it's own government.. Hey, there's thought! Chicago politics is known for kickbacks to gov't officials.. Maybe we should check the (non) budget of the State Dept. for Mexican officials on the petty cash-snitch list..
The more I look at the billboard, the more it looks like it's targeted for consumption by the UN/New York Times crowd...
