Of course Han shot first....

Not in the 're-mastered" versions. IF you can find an original VCR type version Han shot first, in the later versions he did not.

That was Whittle's point....Lucas, (a big Lib), didn't want Han portrayed as an un-moral killer....So he "re-mastered" it so Greedo was seen missing his shot from across the table by a country mile and Han taking him out in the Cantina.
Although if watched to the end he does offer a clip into the new Act Of Valor movie with real SEALS as actors...and from reviews, is pretty anti Hollywood.

There is a DVD release that has both versions.
Lucas, in an act of Righteous Vindication, left that version in a small scale while visually enhancing the phony version for wide screen viewing. I guess if you want the original content, you get stuck with the original format too.

Remember when Spielberg - another Hollyweird libtard - modified ET to remove all of the bad nasty guns from the cops' hands and replace them all with walkie-talkies? What is it with these butt wipes?

IIRC, Greedo actually threatened Han, stopped him from leaving the cantina using a gun, and then basically saying he would kill Han and take the money. Only a libtard like Lucas would think that is NOT justifiable grounds to "shoot first".

Han shot first? Oh yeah. As a kid watching the movie for the first time at the theater, I knew Han shot first. Otherwise his character would have ended right there.
Love the Act of Valor clip. Really looking forward to this movie.

Of course Han shot first, my question is why he took so long to do it!!

This whole thing reminds me of the people who dress up like Wookies and stand in line for three days when a new one comes out.
It's a movie, who with a life really gives a shit who shot first, and that goes for Spielberg as well.
It's a fictional character, no one gives a shit how he's perceived.
Get a life and move on Stevie,
While you're getting all fired up about a 30 year old movie I bet you missed this little gem.
Remember those Syrians that Al Queda offered to support ?

WASHINGTON/AMMAN (Reuters) - The United States appeared to open the door to eventually arming Syria's opposition, saying that if a political solution to the crisis was impossible it might have to consider other options.
The comments, made by officials at both the White House and the U.S. State Department on Tuesday, marked a shift in emphasis by Washington, which so far has stressed a policy of not arming the opposition and has said little about alternatives.
