That is one heck of a comment....how can anyone disagree?
The Reagan video is poignant. Can anyone doubt we are now peering across the precipice of darkness made by our own doing? Are not congressmen, judges and our president traitors to that which is honest, good and right both in spirit and in deed?
We will not back from the precipice by simply electing a person to the highest office to do our work for us. A person at the top can bring us down, but cannot bring us back. We must engage politically from the bottom up to remove the foundation of support the liars and thieves rely upon.
From the Alderman to the Governor and Congress to the President we must sacrifice our time and our possessions to support people who are honest and true. We must offend in word and deed those who gleefully, childishly and selfishly support those who sell us out that are, indeed, traitors. If we are not ready to offend our parents, children, friends, co-workers and others by advocating and announcing honesty, loyalty and truth then we deserve the fate that lies beyond the edge.
