Authorities say the bomb squad was called to Rush Limbaugh's house in Palm Beach.
A suspicious package was found at the North Ocean Boulevard Home, authorities told WPTV.
Calls to Palm Beach Police weren't immediately returned.
North Ocean Boulevard was blocked off and traffic was being detoured onto North Ocean Way.
No other information was immediately available.

Any woman who will go before a congressional committee to plead for money to maintain her sex life must not have any shame. Whatever right she (or anyone else) may have to contraception, she has no right to demand that someone else pay for it or to expect the government to extort it from her employer or insurance company.

Our nation is teetering. Everything we believe in is being undermined. The future for our children and grandchildren is perilous. I am guessing that with Georgetown being a private school we don't get to see what the professors are making.
Back when I was trying to go to grad school for psychology at a State school, I went to the library and asked for "the Book".
This was in 2004.
So the book listed what the prof's were making, out of the 20 to 30 Ph.D'ed prof's in the psych department, only 4 were making more than $50 grand a year. I quit school right then and there and went back to work.
getting back on topic....if this Fluke girl was a capitalist instead of a socialist she'd at least be able to leverage her "assets" into free drinks or free dinners.
I bet within 3 years we will be hearing her name again in like a Monica Lewinsky/intern type incident.

That was for general studies. Get into the law department and you're pushing 70K for tuition with the aforementioned boatload of fees tacked on as well.
Our resident Professor FQ went to Georgetown on the public's dime through the ROTC program. He could shed further light on the subject if he wasn't taking care of his ailing Pop!

way back when, in like the 1988 or 1989 time frame, the Army ROTC unit at Washington University in St. Louis, MO wanted me to go there. an ROTC scholarship wasn't going to pay for all the tuition though. I think it was either 80% or 8,000 dollars per semester, whichever is higher. IIRC, back then tuition was $12,000 per semester, so I was going to have come up with something close to $4,000 out of my own pocket.
I did get a 4 year Army ROTC scholarship that I was planning on taking to Embry-Riddle at Daytona Beach Florida. Embry-Riddle was then going to cover room and board because of the 4 year ROTC scholarship.
Then the Air Force gave me a 3.5 year scholarship to Embry-Riddle at Prescott, AZ .
Then at the last minute on May 3rd, 1990, Rep. Jerry Costello called my high school to offer me an appointment to the Air Force Academy or West Point. I wanted to fly, so naturally took USAFA....then Bill Clinton became the Prez in 1992 and there went the budget for pilot training slots. >:(
I should have gone to ERAU at Daytona and partied my a$$ off instead.

Don't you just love that that building is capable of speaking ??? The Pres. offered his support, and I'm sure he apologized on behalf of all Americans while he was at it.
I am not a Rush fan, and I have only heard his show a few times - I don't feel deprived! One thing I read last year in an interview of Rush is that he bills himself as a satirist. Explains why I don't like his show - Satire is high on my list of not likes. Bill Maher and Sen. Al Franken are also satirists. Does our Pres. call people and offer his support when Bill uses profanity and slurs to describe them?
Mr. President, you have a job to do! A very serious job to do! I know I'm asking you to change your pattern of work ethic and maturity of over 37 months in office, but get out of the entertainment industry, and get back to work!

I used to listen to Rush back in the early to mid-90's. That's when I was traveling a bit. I haven't had time to tune in for more than a hour every three months or so since then. In my mind's eye, I perceive he changed up what and how he does things.
I do miss G Gordon Liddy of the late 80's and very early 90's. Old age seemed to take over before the mid-90's. I miss what he was.

I've made service calls to a few VIP's yachts in that hood, and having a 156' Christensen Yacht in your back yard is pretty amazing. It's the City Councils, County Commissions, Bd. of Ed. Mayors, and such that are Ultra Lib.
Look, I've listened to Rush since he started, read several of his books...One of his traits is knowing what he says drives Libs crazy. Pushing buttons and being chastised by folks like Sheila Jackson Lee, Elijah Cummings, and various Libs that got their panties in a bunch actually is what Rush targets. He exposes them.
He has a staff of researchers, and presents a perspective that draws 20 Million listeners a week, and being a student of William F. Buckley, and Ronaldus Magnus Conservatism drives the Libs into a frenzy because they know that he knows their B.S.
It's satire based in the facts of the day, and exposes the Left, much like Brietbart did, as a falsehood and a lie.
They tried to destroy him, even when Rush had his own problems,...but he remains. Watch his CPAC speech from last year.

Back in the mid 90s I started listening to Rush, along with the G man, Hannity and Olley North. Two have left the ring, I listen to Rush everyday and I hear Sean every once in a while for a short time. I am amazed that anyone who has listened to Rush AT ALL, could compare him to the no talent hack Howard Stearn, whatever...
As for his comments this week, sure he may have misspoke or used the wrong term to describe this twit, but he does 3 hours of radio everyday and makes fewer mistakes than most other radio, tv or other media hosts over the same period of time.
His ratings and compensation reflect his talent, I guess haters are going to hate...

So this girl couldn't be called to testify in front of a congressional committee and instead has a press conference with Nancy "Stretch" Pelosi and tells the whole world she can't afford to pay her own contraceptive bills because of all the sex she's having at grad school. My daughter and her boyfriend (the only one she's ever had) were smart enough to avoid college and at 26, make over 100K between them. They can afford their own contraceptives though I believe they're covered under her insurance! She would never put herself in this situation!
Let me put this to rest! We all agree that this women is a liberal hack, pumped up by Bella Pelosi and paraded around like a downtrodden, poor helpless college kid. Was she asking the Government to cover her pills or the University? Either way, it's not the governments business in my opinion! If Georgetown takes Federal monies, that may change the dynamic a bit!

I haven't been reading all the links on the Paid Contraception segment of this thread, but I've gotten the impression from posts that the woman think her cost for contraceptives is high because she is very sexually active?
Has anyone pointed out to her that you only need to take 1 Morning After Pill regardless of how many times you got lucky the night before?

Fluke is a 30 year old activist, she was at Berkeley, and several Planed Parenthood rallies. Pelosi substituted Fluke for the designated speaker, David Belk maybe Burke), at 4:30 the day before the Committee meeting.
As Issa Chairs the Committee, and needs to vet the folks for questioning, Issa said No. Pelosi than arranged a Press Conference that looked like a Committee meeting.
She gave unsubstantiated here say testimony, was not questioned by anyone except a sympathetic bunch of Libs, and they got away with it.
All to distract the masses, and useful idiots of the real deal. Wal-Mart has had birth control for about $9. But the Libs hate Wal-Mart because they are not union.
