So a predominately white HS, and a mostly Hispanic HS play a B-Ball game...The Hispanic HS fans chant "ALAMO WHITES" during the game to mock the mostly white HS.
OK,...taunts, jabs, talkin smack,,... NOTHING said by any coach or admin.
Well, the mostly white HS wins the game....and the students start chanting USA! USA!....
It was silenced in seconds by the coach. They are now going to have to apologize to the other school. Complaints to the TX Bd. of Ed have been filed...
Cause whitey is racist.....

Mexico won't care, their Olympic teams sucks. Something to do with everyone that can run, jump and swim is already over here....

They can pull that with the team, but they can't with the fans... (Till the unarmed fans leave the venue).

I have no problem with the coach silencing the chants. I don't believe he should apologize though. This is a sport game, and in the spirit of sportsmanship you use discretion. Not every taunt deserves or demands a response, and there is nothing wrong with taking the high road and showing that you are better by not responding. The coach's statement should be that our team won the game, and I did not want our team or fans rubbing the loss in the face of our worthy opponents. If he goes beyond that I will ask what year he graduated from the BHO school of diplomacy.
