Now the truth comes out...
Caught on film... Michael and Tequila trying out for their next job... as a stand in for the Dog Whisperer. ::)

Um, ok, so is this something we have to do in order to get sponsorship, MC a dock dog contest?
Or did we think this was fun?
Just wondering? ? ? ?
Also wondering where Tequila's gun rig was. Introduced as a CAS participant, and a great opportunity to normalize weapons. Unloaded of course, even dummy guns to appease the city mopes. Even if you take it off before throwing the ducks, just like normal. But wear the rig, it might help.

This was something that Cabelas was sponsoring at the Shot Show. It was set up outside and there were actual" professionals " giving a seminar etc on this. ( uhhh I don't think Michael and Tequila were offered jobs.. LOL )
It was a hoot. ;D

I bet something really funny happened but I can't get the whole tape to play :(

Would have been better to have had Michael and Tequila see which one could jump further into the pool!
;D
But it does remind me of a "this is no shit" story;
Years ago at a rendezvous, we were all camped by a pond. One of our people was at the time training retrievers, professionally. He had one of his dogs with him, and was working with the dog, throwing a dummy out in the water and sending the dog out after it.
My wife was watching this, and had our St. Bernard, Bruno, on a leash. Bruno watches this procedure several times, and then when the retrieving dummy got thrown again, he broke loose from the wife, raced the Lab through the water to the dummy, won the race, brought the dummy back to shore in his mouth, and instead of giving it to Monica, brought it 200 yards back to camp to deliver it to me.

You notice only a dog would be so easily tricked into jumping into water.(http://www.mazeguy.net/expressive/snooty.gif)

Probably a good thing that cat wasn't in that particular water tank. lol. Interesting picture hazcat.

It's from a story about this cat. The trainer tosses meat into the water and the cat goes after it.

Wow what a smart dog. Goes to the edge and checks it out first and waits to be told when to go.
Way to go Tequila!!!
Michael lets see more pics of your dog.

Michaels dog was the one who did the tricks..and theone who went to the edge and looked down..
Tequila's dog was the one who ran on his own from the back.
But they were so fun to watch..
