What are you, a terrorist sympathizer ?
Do you want airliners falling from the sky ?
After all , look at all the successes the TSA has wracked up, like the "Shoe Bomber", (oh yeah, he got through, it was the passengers that got him), but don't forget the "Underwear Bomber, (oh yeah, he got through too, it was the passengers that got him),
Well, IT'S FOR THE CHILDREN DAMMIT .

Theater for the sheeple.

This is a two year old incident and I'm sure they don't do those insensitive types of things now... R I G H T!

Finally?    FINALLY?  TSA went too far the second after the agency was created.

We have traded freedom for security and now don't have either.

Probably some neighbor who had it in for this family called a TSA Betray You Neighbors and Family Hot Line from a downtown phone booth and gave a description and told them to pay special attention to the wheelchair.

The Gestapo would be proud.

Orlando Int. Airport is kicking the TSA out and hiring private security.

Local News Story.

Over a dozen airports have already replaced the TSA with private security.....

The kicker is Big Sis at Homeland Security, if this becomes a trend BHO and Big Sis will clamp down on the opt out option.

But at least its a start.

Hire some retired El Al security as consultants to boot.

Why on earth would "know it all" liberals want to take advice from the safest airline in the world ?

OOPS.   Not exactly true.   Orlando-Sandford a couple dozen miles NORTH of Orlando is doing this.  Orlando Internation - McCoy (former SAC base) is the "main" Orlando airport located south of Orlando along with most of the entertainment venues.

I didn't realize how big and operation they had built.  And evidently have become a rather large NE Florida Hub.  Convenient to the Jax, Daytona and the other northern east coast beaches as well as Orlando.

I say "you go Sanford".

The whole lot is a crock of BS. Seriously how long has it been since 911 and the Bali Bombings. Its all still being used as an excuse to stip rights and freedoms from the everyday person, not only in the US but other countries as well. All being labled as "its for your own protection" BS, its friggen not, its all about money, power and control. If they was serious about possible threats they wouldnt let in half the frakken rag heads that they do through legal channels and under the guise of refugees.
Doesnt matter if its the TSA in the US or the jumped up quazi naxi ass wipes over here. Some should be followed home and beaten with a sock full of soap.

That vid of the three year old girl was uterly disgusting I dont know how the mother allowed her to be subjected to that seriously.
We teach our kids not to allow strangers to touch them, and here you have some jumped up power hungry nap headed scrag feeling up a kid. Grrrrrrr.

Reminded me of a comment I made going through security last month.

"Why the multiple lines into one xray machine?", my buddy asked.

"To match the illusion of speed with the illusion of security."

TSA can't go to far.
If they decided to do cavity searches the sheep would bitch, complain, and bend over and spread 'em.

Apparently they haven't gone far enough. They still exist.

Still say they should be followed home randomly and beaten with a sock and soap.

The really sad part about it is we replaced minimum-wage private security with Federalized minimum-wage security, and some airports are going back to minimum-wage private security and it's all considered to make it safer to fly.  If we actually wanted security when we fly we'd follow the Israeli model but then you guys would b1tc4 about having armed-paramilitary police at the airports "invading my privacy."

Its all lose-lose

That was discussed on the first page.
El Al does background and credit checks on all passengers when they book their ticket, their security arrangements are less direct hassle than what we currently are subjected to and they are the safest airline in the world.
Can't do that here though because they use "profiling" if your name is Shwartz, or Smith you don't get the same level of "service" as you would if you name is Rashid, or Abdul.

I wasn't talking about El Al itself but at the airport where there is a large contigent of police with more than just tazers and pistols every 50 feet or so.

Why be overly concerned with safety....except for photo ops and headlines....when there is this opportunity to get the population used to being controlled by the jack booted thugs of the government?

The difference is in competence.
Do you actually want to see these low wage mall ninja wanna be's carry anything dangerous ?
They can't even be trusted with the X Ray equipment, as it is.

The sheep have been conditioned gradually through the phony war on drugs for 80 years to except any infringement of their rights, including random check points with identity checks under the guise of "DWI checkpoints".

American's today are worse off than non Jews in Nazi Germany but they are to brainwashed and gutless to admit it.

Funny you should say that, my customer flew out from San Diego last week and TSA couldn't get the X-ray machines booted up right delayed everyone 15-20 minutes.

They wonder why we don't respect them...  They, LEOs in general, need to raise their own bar and police their own ranks before than can begin earning back any trust.

Our so called leaders in D.C. have turned down offers of help with our aviation security from the former director of Israels aviation security three times! ???
Let's see, Israel hasn't had a hijacking or plane blow up ever since this man took over aviation security and implemented his program, yet it takes the passengers on american planes to subdue terrorists that got thru our top notch expensive DHS - TSA security. Amazing!
Israel uses a very simple procedure - profiling. If it looks like a duck, talks like a duck, walks like a duck, it must be a duck. They will question a person whom they believe to be a terrorist with simple questions and watch they're reactions and question them further if necessary. Profiling will not be tolerated - not in PC America, we may offend or hurt someones feelings.
