Title: My new "venture"
Post by: Mericet on March 21, 2012, 09:16:25 PM
I found it took too much time posting on a few forums about my gunsmithing studies so I have created a blog. http://guns.claasen.us/ Check it out and feel free to comment!

True! OK, I will admit that this not the only site I visit. And not always the first one. But always the first firearms relate one!

Thanks, Mericet.  I really enjoy this.

I was getting worried you gave over gun smithing and were working on your law degree... ;D ;D

We're not the only one?  And sometimes we aren't even first in line?  And after we bought tickets.... ;D

All kidding aside (well some of it)  It was nice to see what you've been up to.

Please do drop reminders and teasers every so often.   Keep up the good work.

Some more updates to the blog. I am actually at the point where I am sanding the stock on my Winchester 94 project and am really happy with the way the wood looks. I also test fired my Remington 700 project today and could not have hoped for a better case expansion number. 0.000 on all three casings!

Thanks again.   Still awed by all this.

I looked at the pictures of the unformed stock and thought you were making a Glock rifle  ;D ;D

Thanks again and take care.

Getting close to being caught up on my progress on the Winchester 94 stock. It is a little further along than the last blog post shows, and it is looking good!
