from another forum:
After reading the headlines today about the US soldier who shot up Afghanistan civilians, I couldn’t help noticing an irony. There is all this clamor to try SGT Bales quickly and execute him, never mind his having suffered a traumatic brain injury. Yet this Major Hasan, who shot up Fort Hood while screaming Allah akbar, still hasn’t stood trial, and they are still debating whether he was insane, even with the clear evidence regarding his motive: slay as many infidels as possible. So we have a guy in a war zone who cracks, and he must be executed immediately. But this Muslim psychiatrist who was stateside in a nice safe office all day murders 13, wounds 29 of our own guys, and they try to argue the poor lad suffered post-traumatic stress syndrome, from listening to real soldiers who had actual battle experience. Two and a half years later, they still haven’t tried the murderous man.
things that make you go hmmmn....

Same reaseon we've heard about everything Bale has done everyday in the news for weeks and didn't hear that the Taliban blew up closer to 40 people the same day he shot 16. Its bad press for the one's in "control"
-
Yeah...I was comparing the handling of the two of them also.
-
2 things, It's the DOJ that is delaying the trial of the Ft Hood traitor, and his attack is no longer being considered terrorism, despite his yelling "allah akbar" while shooting.
It's being called "work place violence".
This administration is on the side of America's enemies, yet the sheep will probably reelect the POSIC.

well....technically, it is the electoral college who decides the prez.
doing the math from the Kerry race, I think Obama will win those some states plus Florida, so he will be right around the 260 something mark.
only need 270 to win.
from some other website, I read that the actually counting of votes will be done electronically by a database/software actually in England.

A number of state legislatures (the libtard ones like CA, WA, MA (IIRC), and others), have changed the rules so that the entire platform of their delegates goes to the one who wins the POPULAR vote NATIONALLY, not within the state. Just a quiet little "community activism" courtesy of ACORN and some of their follow-on organizations over the past 5-8 years.

That won't go into effect in MA unless a "majority" of states follow suit and do the same. So far it's MA, MD, WA, NJ and IL.
So, until such time as they do, it stays the same.

Welcome to the new world under obama and holder communist at best :P :-X

Maj. Hasan is Muslim. The Commander in Chief is at best a sympathizer.

Bales will get a needle for his brutal killings.
Hasan will get counseling.

I wonder who's son Hasan or Bales looks like? Or who's sons or daughters the victims look like? Shouldn't we be concerned about that?

Far be it for me to convict without a trial, but for want of a better term: I heard on the news tonight that the Gov'mint is going to pay compensation to each of Bales victims to the tune of $15,000. How much did Hassan's victims get, I forget?

According to the news it is $50,000 for each death and $11,000 for the wounded. Wouldn't be surprised if some more dead and wounded are found soon and blamed on Sgt Bales.

It would only be practical. I mean, there are "Honor Killings" frequently and what better way for the wrong doer to atone than to bring a bit of cash flow to the family along with their demise. As for wounded, I'm sure a "Honorable" son/daughter/father/mother would take one in the leg for the family coffers.

Ok I heard wrong. I still want to know how much Hassan's victims got. I know that the Government wouldn't just let them fend for themselves, but I forget what the figure is.
