I have always thought the Earth would shake if he ever told the truth.

Wisconsin town plagued by mysterious booming noises

The booming in Clintonville continued Monday and Tuesday nights and into Wednesday morning, eventually prompting Van Beek to take her three sons to her father's home, 10 minutes away, so they could get some uninterrupted sleep.

somebody on another forum is insinuating that it is man made... like the ANFO explosions you would see at a strip mine.  he also went on to say that the area is sitting on a huge block of granite and the Feds way back when wanted to do underground nuclear testing there.

then somebody else suggested that it is the latest version of the Green Brier hotel bunker, just in Wisconsin.

According to news reports I've seen it is the same as an incident a year or 2 ago in NC.
Seismologists are getting nothing and there is no human activity in the area to explain it.

where's that fancy anti-"shoot your guns on New Year's" technology that we have heard large metrolpolitan areas are using now to pinpoint where gunshots are coming from?

Some geek has hooked up a vibration speaker to that big granite rock under the area and is using it as  his sub-woofer  ;D ;D
