How many of you are coming to St. Louis. Tip: DON'T LEAVE ANYTHING IN YOUR VEHICLE Have a good time and use common sense. No Problem!!

Would love to be there, and some day I will go to convention. However, not this year - again :(
Great advice! Any convention, and the NRA's is very well advertized, will attract vultures. Everyone is a walking target, and it is the weak that will be taken down.

And watch out for those sidewalk obstacles, like the few I had to step over from the Brady Bunch lying on the sidewalk representing casualties from gun shots... 8)
Looking forward to Houston 2013, for the Post BHO convention, or like I posted on another thread, the First Meeting Of The National Militia For The Preservation Of America.

And as much as we all know what we would like to do, shut up, step over and around, be polite, do not engage in "discussion," and do not grant interviews! Be average American Jack and Jill, and blend into society.

I have been to two, one in NC in 2000, and the one in Louisville. Wish I could go to this one, but I have to work. I guarantee anybody that is going that you will enjoy it!
-
I would love to go been a very long time since I was there but current conditions will not allow me to attend.

Couldn't we maybe rig a bladder full of some liquid and a tube down to outside one shoe and open the bladder standing uphill from those laying down? Noting dangerous or harmful...just something that smells bad maybe?

The overall attendance of the Charlotte 2010 show was over 70,000.....There were no convention members or attendees arrested.
(Although Michael Bane in his flaming skull shirt was a possible infraction) ;)
Had a great time, met Uncle Ted, The Gunny, many competitive superstars in the shooting sports field. Drooled a lot. Never found Marshall, but MB said he is in "turbo mode" at these kind of events.
As I've posted before, "WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES".....Take your time. Get there on the first day. The schwag and free goodies are the best on the first day.
Please meet the TAPCO booth/girl,...you won't regret it. Get the free T-shirt....and try not to stare at her,........attributes.... ::)
Go to the individual modules. Go to the main event. It is well worth it....

Went to Charlotte and Pittsburgh and want to go this year, but the studies come first. At least I went to SHOT!

Man you should explain what you mean. To those of you going in April there have been two bus break ins in the last week in the down town area. My advise is to NOT leave anything valuable in your car if you park on the street and don't park on the street if you can avoid it. I don't know if this is a trend but careful is better than regret. (Did that make sense?)

The last time I was in St. Louis was about 1968.....from what I've read and heard, I'd probably avoid the downtown area and certainly East St. Louis, IL for sure...
Tim...not a city guy!
My CCW license is good in MO....that's a good thing!

Boy, I want to go in the worst kinda way.. The 13th is my birthday and everything. I just can't afford it. (Can't pull it off with this equipment..)
Take pics...

I have no one to blame but me for not going this year, I am so put off by the TSA my manners would probably get me in trouble at the airport. My choices are a 20 hour drive, a two hour flight or not go. Last year due to new TSA harassment and my wifes schedule limiting us to just Saturday to see and do everything I skipped it. Next year is Houston at the George Brown Convention Center just up the road from my house, I hope to see more and buy more since I will be home.

You're right Pecos Bill I should have been a little more specific, you do have to admit, down town St. Louis will be well armed that weekend.

Downtown may be well armed but Americas Center won't. Can't carry in there. By the way, the Cardinals home opener is that Friday. St. Louis will be busy that weekend.

I will be working Friday afternoon, and Sunday morning, at the membership registration area, come by and say hi! I will be wearing a "Arnold Rifle & Pistol Club" shirt. Looking forward to seeing any/all of you.

They let us carry in the Dome at the 2007 meeting, I haven't heard anything about this one, I'll call the NRA and ask.
-
You're right Pecos they won't let us. I must be getting old, maybe I'm confusing St. Louis with Louisville. SORRY

my eyes must be failing me - I stepped on a dog turd and them on an activist - I hope I can find another dog turd to get the activist off my shoe
