Title: Ruger LCP Ankle Holster
Post by: Ping on April 01, 2012, 07:11:17 PM
I am looking for a Ruger LCP ankle holster. Anyone have any suggestions? I have never worn an ankle holster so this is new to me. Any assistance or direction will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I got the Fobus ankle holster when the LCP first came.  I wore it quite a bit with a pair of cowboy boots while doing a varity of things such as standing all day (use to work part time at a hobby store) and even helping people move.  I can't say I ever had any problems with it impeding movement of my ankle or having it cause blisters.  The one thing is that I didn't love about it was the fact of how far it sticks out.  It's not a huge problem since it was still easily conceled, but I could see the benefit of a leather holster that may hold the gun closer to the ankle.  All in all I like the Fobus and still continue to use it.

Alessi made a very popular ankle holster.  He is no longer alive but his company has been taken over but I forget the new name. MB has talked about it a lot or maybe someone here knows.

FWIW
