OOOOOOOOH Boy I did it now! I was in my garage today working at the reloading bench where I was resizing .223's as I have at least 1000 of these to do ( I know don''t have to say it HAZ) when about case number 450 something gets stuck and stuck real good. So I says to myself "I have a stuck case remover" I do all the necessary steps and OFF comes the case head. WHAT THE? This is a once fired case. Ok let me sit down and BREATH a little. I sit there OOOHSAW OOOHSAW. Then I decided to take out the primer punch and expander ball but it breaks off as well. Time to breath again. So now I sit down at my puter and go to Midway for a new die , yep time to breath again. ::)

Ooh. I had a panicky moment last week with a stuck case. Interrupting my zen-like reloading process REALLY irritates me. It's my escape. Some people watch movies, some read books. I reload. Getting lost in the process and monotony is total zen for me.
And to have it interrupted.... ARGH.
Fortunately, taking the die down to my single stage, wrestling with a shell holder a bit, minor mangling, and a bit of angry brute force got the Radway 5.56 case out of the die without ripping the case head off.
MOOR COWBELL.
er... I mean... MORE LUBE!

When I lube my cases I have a cookie sheet that I lay them out on about 100 at a time and use Dillon's case lube and use them down ,wait a few minutes and go to work them and they are slippery as all get out. I shoved this die with the stuck case in the freezer for about 9 hours hoping that it would contract the case. Nope no go locked up like two dogs in heat and I can't find a water hose. :(
