Title: Why Do They Always Name These Things After Popular Calibers?

Quote
A BILL

To prohibit the transfer or possession of large capacity ammunition feeding devices, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘Large Capacity Ammunition Feeding Device Act’.

I had this one on a sticky, and can't find what is happening with it.  It appears to have cleared everything but has not been acted on.  Every search I do shows alive and well and then falling off the radar a little over a year ago with zero action.

Is this another ticking time bomb waiting to explode after a BHO loss this fall or in the avalanche next winter if he wins?

True, but there are a lot of them out there that have cleared the hurtles but not been voted on.
