(CNSNews.com) - House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Thursday endorsed a movement announced by other congressional Democrats on Wednesday to ratify an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that would allow Congress to regulate political speech when it is engaged in by corporations as opposed to individuals.
Hey Mrs. Pelosi! Corporations are made up of people! Newspapers are corporations! Broadcast media is made up of corporations!

It took 203 years to ratify the 27th Amendment m58, I don't think you'll see this one ratified in our or your grandkids lifetimes!
Pelosi proves once again she doesn't know history! The SCOTUS has already decided the case!

Hears a thought for you Timmy:
Have you ever dealt with dandilions or thistles in your yard or pasture. They are nasty perennials that start from a tiny seed. If you keep the population under control, control is easy. If you let them spread it gets tougher. If you hit them at first sight they kill off easy. But, if you let those taproots grow down six, eight ... twenty-four inches it not only damages your lawn or forage, but the removal of the weed destroys many beneficial plants in the area.
The best time to stop this crap is before the blossom turns into a seed head and drifts in the wind. "The answer my friend is blowing in the wind ..." And the answer is we are screwed if we do not fight these weeds early!

We need to make the Democrats in Congress irrelevant with this coming election cycle. In the meantime I will continue to write Kerry, Brown and Olver as I have been lo these many months...not that I get many replies anymore!

This is actually a new page in old news.
It refers back to the first time BO "schooled" SCOTUS in the "Citizens United" case.
It actually refers to campaign donations and ad sponsorship by corporate entities.
This was the case he was babbling about in his 1st SOTU Address when one of the Justices ( Scalia I think ) was caught on camera saying to his neighbor, "He's wrong".
The argument is do corporations have the same Constitutional rights as an individual when it comes to political activity.
Since previous courts have up held their rights to such things as "equal justice", property rights, and the Right to keep arms it is so simple only a Democrat or subversive could argue against it.

Given the facts and history even a blooming idiot would get it right.

Pelosi has killed it though by letting the rest of us say "She wants to take away Free Speech".

I still don't believe that the Dems have 38 states or anywhere near that on such a divisive issue! Hell, the current Asshat in Chief didn't get 38 states in 2008!

Your right to "free" speech has been regulated, monitored, and will be enforced if deemed inappropriate....It was a bi-partisan bill, signed by BOTH parties.....
The ONLY exception under the current Admin. is the Occupy group, promising to "shut NYC down" on May Day...(May 1st).....
They, as well as the bounty issuing Black Panther Party, get a pass......

Check the news on the Starbucks in Manhattan last week,.....when they were assaulted by pipe wielding thugs that took the windows out and destroyed property....Didn't hear about it in the MSM?

You misunderstand.....when those dipsticks take the stage, it's a cry for the righting of wrongs. It's not protesting.
When a conservative speaks out, like someone wanting the .gov to follow the constitution - THATS protesting.
