I just heard a blurb on the radio news that Nugent, during the "interview" pled to/admitted to a grazing bow shot on a bear, then an over the limit penlaty for another one up in Alaska on a show a couple of years ago. The story said he got probation.
I haven't seen anything in print on it but it made the local radio news..
What the hell is that!!! Did the SS bring a judge and stenographer to the "interview"?

http://ultimateclassicrock.com/ted-nugent-pleads-guilty-to-illegal-bear-kill/
According to the court documents, Nugent as part of a hunt filmed for his Outdoor Channel television show, “Spirit of the Wild,” in May 2009, shot and killed a bear on U.S. Forest Service land on Sukkwan Island. Nugent then transferred the bear via boat to the mainland.
A few days earlier, however, he wounded another bear in a bow hunt. Alaska law limits hunters to one bagged bear per season, with wounded bears counting towards the limit. Further, Nugent violated the federal Lacey Act against taking possession of and transporting an animal that was illegally killed.
Nugent was fined $10,000 by the federal government and $600 by the State of Alaska for his actions. He was also given two years probation and cannot hunt or fish in Alaska or Forest Service property for one year. Nugent will also create a public service announcement about knowing and obeying hunting laws that will run on his show.
Done deal....

The quote from the 11:40 to 12:00 minutes in teh video needs to be publicized till every voter in the grave knows about this..
How can you have a Whistleblower Law and then statutorily charge them with SEDITION for using it!!??

Fish and Game Depts. have been loose cannons for some time now. How many times have people been charged and convicted of shooting deer out of season w=for whacking a deer with their car/truck, and then shooting it to put it out of their misery? It happened a few years back just over the line in SD, and the guy was lucky he didn't go to jail.
To paraphrase The Joker - This country needs an enema!!!!

This is the 2nd time he has gotton into trouble on that show. the last time it was in CA when he killed a deer out of season.

In another article I read, (sorry, I can't find it again now to post the quote) Uncle Ted's Alaska lawyer/hunting guide said that he, himself was unaware of the relatively new law that counts a wounded bear toward your limit, so he was sure that Ted was unaware of it, as well. Ted was then quoted as saying that, even though they didn't know about it, the law is the law and he'll pay the consequences of his actions.
