Thanks to all for splaining to me how to get my photos to fit. Here she is, Eotech with 3X Magnifier (went with factory, cheaper ones scared me.) What you can not see is the Timney 3lb single stage trigger, favorite part of the rifle. It is a Bushmaster which I bought when I sold my S&W stock that I bought pre-election that went up 250% shortly after the election thanks to BHO. I figured an AR was the perfect thing to buy with that $$$.

And here is the closest thing to a coffee maker I could add to it, a pack of Starbucks Via stuck into the grip storage area. Just in case someone asks if I got a coffee maker on that thing, too, I can show them this. ;D

It doesn't look like it's inline with the Eotech, is it just the angle of the picture or does it not make a difference?
I really want one of these but the $$$ is scaring me off right now.

It can flip to the side, which it is in this picture, it lines up perfectly when in proper position.
-
Did you use a China Marker to highlight the red and white lettering?
-
I did use a China Marker, and I think it was you that suggested it.
-
You did a nice job!

Thank you Billt, I learn a lot from this site!

Gotcha. After looking at the pic a second time it's obvious that it is 'up'. I shouldn't post before coffee.
I wonder if they make a mount to swing to the left for portsiders - that mount would put the magnifier between my eyes.
Looks easy enough to change it backwards so it would swing up the other way, but I wonder about putting the 3xmag too far back from the sight.
How much wiggle room do you have between the two in the instructions?

The Flip to the side mount is seperate from the magnifier; it has to be attached and can be mounted higher with a spacer. No reason why it could not be made ambidextrous as far as I can tell (I try not to read directions.) You can probably mount a couple of spaces back on the rail and still have space for a BUIS. I do this since the Eotech on/off is on the back of the unit.

My magnifier came with the mount - able to flip left or right, depending how set up.
"The magnifier system can be configured to flip to the left or to the right based on shooting
preference. Typically, right handed shooters prefer the mount to flip to the left, and left handed
shooters to the right. " - from the manual
