I have been waiting about 18 months now for a CZ97b, and I finally found it. I was on Impact Guns sight just browsing when it came up as available. I placed my order and I cant wait for it to arrive.
-
I have always wanted one of those. I handled one in a shop while visiting CA and vowed to get one some day. Can't wait for the range test and photos!
-
CZ makes a great pistol. Congrats to your long quest for the 97b coming to an end...
-
You'll hate it. You should send it to me for proper disposal ASAP.
-
I cant wait to get it home and ready it for the range. I have 3 boxes of Winchester white box for to digest, and I was also able to find 4 mags at my girls gun range someone ordered by accident. Heck I only paid $15.00 buck each for them and there factory CZ.

Don't forget the pics,.... ::)
We like looking at those International Lovelies of .45 caliber diversity.... ;D

Finally got the paper work done with and now I have to wait 10 days. There is a plus side to this I just found 2 more mags and a holster too. Three guys that were at the counter saw my new toy and just about freaked. They had no idea the CZ made a .45acp. When I told them how long I waited they looked at each other and asked my FFl to find them one. I wished them good luck. ;D

Have you cranked it up yet? I love the CZ line. All steel and no Aluminum.
-
Only 6 more days and she's all mine. She's going straight to the range after I pick it up.
-
Congrats on the gun. I'm mainly posted out of wait time sympathy. I've got a couple guns ordered; so, I get the wait time on that, but another 10 days tacked on to that? That stinks. I'm glad I don't have to deal with waiting periods. Hope you enjoy it.

How did it shoot??? Is honeymoon over or just starting. Range report now over due. ;D ;D
-
I picked her up late Monday, but I havent had time to take pics or go to the range just yet. Its so busy at work my boss said it might be a while before I see my next day off.

I picked this one up the other day. I hope to get to the range later this week with it. I really like the Polycoat finish better than I thought I would. It has a nice even tone to it. I also like the threaded barrel bushing. That's a good design I'm surprised more semi autos don't use. I really like CZ handguns. You know you've got a handful of steel when you pick one up. I need to get a few extra magazines for it. It only came with one.

It shares the same mags as the EAA witness 45. You can get them for around $25.00. Midway had them a while back or you can order direct from EAA. I should have pics by Wednesday and a range review by Sunday.

Go here. Greg Cote has Mec-Gar's for the CZ-97B for just $23.95. He ships fast and will give you a tracking number. I bought a bunch from him for my CZ-75B. Mec-Gar supplies them to Tanfoglio.

Thanx he's got a great selection.

One of these was my last stop on the way to the 1911. Before that was the Sig 220 and before that was the Ruger 345.. I'd have stopped at the CZ but I didn't like where they hung the thumb safety. The thing has great heft! It's accurate and when you run out of ammo you really can beat somebody to death with it.. Good balance too.. The Sig 220 has nothing on these..
I'm batting about 500 with CZ now and this is about the only one I wouldn't flinch at if I got a good deal and a holster that fit it.
Congrats!! I think you'll really like it!..

I finally got to the range today and I was totally surprised. This gun just feels great in the hand and the heft helps manage the recoil. I used one box of Win white box and some 50 rounds of mixed hollow points, and they all fed perfectly. I have to say the quality of the CZ97B puts to shame my Kimber SIS and SA loaded. I payed well over $800 for those guns and neither one compare. I paid $629.00 for my CZ and my only complaint is it doesn't come with a rail. Who cares any way I love this thing its now my favorite .45
