Let the debate begin....... I personally carry IWB the majority of the time. However, if its cold enough for a jacket or a fleece vest (and if I'm just going to the store or something) I might use a hip holster.

Smith&Walther, .40 compact. Ferocious with Gold Dots. Hip paddle.
Mac.

With my full size 1911 IWB then all I have to do is wear my shirt out to cover the grip.
-
1911 I use a shoulder holster most of the time, for a snubbie 38, I use a paddle holster...
-
IWB most of the time, but if it's cold enough for a coat I wear a paddle holster.
-
I am actually surprised that there is at least one person out there who uses a fanny pack.
-
I carry off body in a maxpedition fatboy bag most of the time, otherwise I use a Mich Rosen pancake.
-
I carry a 38 with a IWB most of the time but if I can cover it up, I would prefer to carry my Sig 226 on my hip.
-
If I'm carrying either my 1911 or Hi Power it's IWB, if I have my Jframe, then it;s a Kramer leather scabbard.

iwb middle of the back when carying my sr9, when i cary my snub .38 iwb front right

IWB, on hip in a paddle holster, or ankle ..in an ankle holster. It depends on where I'm going and what I'm doing etc. And yes 99% of the time it is a GLOCK 8), either my compact G23 or my subcompact G27 IWB is the carry method used the most.
-
Florida is hot. Now for more news, XD-40 sub compact with clipdraw.( http://clipdraw.com/) Wife beater under t shirt and shorts 85% of the time.
You will need to clean your gun a bit more but hey, its quality time with a family member.

I still carry the way they taught us in Rookie school when I started out in Law Dog-in'. Thats me on the right. Cherokee carry, front right; weapon retention was just takin' care of "the boys".

Make that two ericire. Usually fannypac. Sig 232 w/gold dot pp ammo. Outside carry is either XD 45 or XD9 leg holster w/pretty much same type pp ammo (http://www.rightnation.us/forums/style_emoticons/default/hunter.gif)

I'm 70 now & been packing just north of 50 yrs. Tried just about everything and every way. What with military,30+yrs with an SO &15 yrs with another agency. got a ccw w/HR218 endorsement. Carried J frames over the years until something new came along.
Finally decided that if it wasn't completely comfortable you wouldn't have it when you needed it.(first rule of gunfighting).I went back to a J frame. A 442 in nickel in a De Santis pocket rig. It rides in my right front pocket, weighs less than 15 oz. I'm trying it with RBCD ammo. looks & handles good. Got grips from precision grips. Ammo in 2 speed strips, and if I have room, 2 safariland speedloaders. Retired now so I don't have to weigh in. Just protect me and mine.
It goes on when I put my pants on and comes off when I take them off. I know its there but its perfectly comfortable.
Sorry to be long winded, but" been there, done that" and just might save someone a lot of time and especially money.

4o'clock IWB, Astra A-90 3.75"barrel(Sig p226 clone) in .45, with 165gr. FHS runnin' 1060fps!
My wife carries the same gun in 9mm. at 8o'clock with 135gr. FHS. (she's a southpaw)
-
You never saw Papillon? :o
No, but I read the book, If some one hands you a smelly brown "greenback" you'll know who it came from ;D
-
Its a no-brainer that IWB has been a big winner here.
-
A 4 inch Kimber 1911 .45, Galco concealable behind left hip. tj
-
I carry IWB most of the time. I use a Smartcarry once a week. I've been known to use a fanny pack now and then as well (more and more often lately.).
-
IWB all day everyday
-
Glock 30, IWB at 4-5 o'clock 230g JHP
-
S&W 3914 DAO, DESANTIS INSIDE WAISTBAND HOLSTER AT THE 4 OCLOCK POSITION. WHILE WORKING LITTLE SMITTY IS STRAPPED TO MY VEST IN THE CROSS DRAW POSITION.
-
IWB with all the fierarms I carry. I used a belt holster once, but felt like everyone could see the tip of the barrel, and they were all staring at it.
-
IWB at 4-5 o'clock. Fannypack during hot weather when cover clothing is impractical. J-Frame in my right front pocket. No money to worry about in this case. lol
-
IWB 4-5 o'clock or SOB, S&W M&P.45, 10 Rnds 230g JHP
-
I usually carry IWB in a crossdraw position with a Bersa 380 Thunder CC and sometimes just carry a Kel Tec P32 in front pocket. If its cool enough for a coat I will carry Kimber 45, Glock 22, or Sig P225 in hip holster. Been considering buying a Safepacker for traveling but havent yet decided to burn the dough
