Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-CA) has indicated that she will filibuster the National Right to Carry Reciprocity Act and the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act if they ever come up for debate in the Senate.
If passed, these bills would require states to recognize carry and concealed carry permits from people who acquired their permit over state lines.
Feinstein argues that these "dangerous bills" would put states' rights in jeopardy, and she adds that most law enforcement agencies oppose the legislation. Her rationalization is that the bill endangers victims of domestic abuse, because abusive boyfriends could cross state lines, acquire a gun, and then return to confront the woman.
We are curious to see how long her pro-state mentality lasts once other bills reach the Democratic senator's desk, or if she is temporarily borrowing a political ideology typically reserved for her Republicans rivals.
The NRA is working diligently to oppose her. They are attempting to amass 60 votes, the required number of votes to end a filibuster.
Look on the bright side: if Feinstein successfully filibusters the bill, we can rest assured that no woman will ever suffer at the hands of her boyfriend again. Not ever. Restricting carry permits to individual states will directly impact spousal abuse. Makes sense to us.

Jane, you ignorant slut (sorry, was channeling Dan Aykroyd from the old SNL "Weekend Update, but I'm better now), this legislation has nothing to do with the SALE of firearms, just the carrying of them by people who have already been deemed by the .gov in their home state to be card-carrying good guys. By her rationale, states should only honor driver's licenses issued by their state, since that would prevent people from driving across state lines to commit domestic abuse.

Sorry if you don't like it lady, but it is the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America. You have a problem with that you should be able to find a list of the signers at the Library of Congress >:( (We need one of them little red faced dudes with steam coming out of his ears)

Look at her positions.
Open borders, Gay rights, gun control, borrow and spend economics, and pro UN/anti America.

Like I mentioned in another post... Baucus & Tester out of Montana, regardless of there other socialistic views, understand what the 2nd Amendment actually says.
Now as to the original post.... I can personally assure you that this coming Nov. when the despicable Dianne Feinstein is reelected to another six year term that I had absolutely nothing to do with it. I will be voting for the strongest candidate with an "R" next to his/her name.
