The only good thing about Fosters is the "oil can" that holds twice as much as a regular can.

Crappy beer in a bigger can is still crappy beer.

Personally, Fosters, Bud, Coors and the Light versions of same are all the worst things I've ever had the displeasure of tasting.  Not even worht using them for recipes (chili, BBQ sauce ect)

I ordered a Bud a couple of weeks ago at the local honky tonk.  I hadn't had a Budweiser in 17 or 18 years.  Took one swig and let it sit on the bar, it was nasty!  There are so many better choices than anything made by the big bottlers now.

I can name 10-15 brewers within 100 miles of where I'm sitting that make a far superior product!

Sam Adams!

That's only about 50 miles... ;D

We have a brewery about ten miles from here called Wachusett.   http://www.wachusettbrew.com/

They make some pretty good brews though I don't care for the fruity ones.  I'm more of a stout, porter, ale kind of guy...  Sam Adams has some very, very good beer.  There are only a few that I don't care for and one in particular that I think could be the worst beer I've ever tasted.
